I picked this wine up as I usual go for their Chianti and i wanted to branch out. I’m tasting it with some of TJ’ Wine crackers. Ah…something is off. My thought is where’s the cheese? Ah, ok some nice Swiss sets my palate straight.
This wine is very pale in color, offers little fragrance and a very mild taste. The mineral and lime are very complimentary to the Swiss. It’s character, low alcohol, savory and high acidity all represent it’s northern climate and terroir very well. An early course wine. Try it for a nice change.
