Tonight I am tasting 337 Wine Cellar’s ’08 Cabernet. Its named after the French vine clone 337. The bouquet of this wine reminds me of dark red roses and a bit of floral and earthy must smell. I really like the depth of color too. It is so deep & dark that its like being out on a moonless night. Inky comes to mind. A very visually appealing wine!
Tasting it, I can taste some acidity but it fades away and you can taste the expectant dark fruits. Nicely balanced. Rounding out the tasting, 337 provides a medium body that goes well with our nice excellently seasoned grilled salmon and fresh delicious brussels sprouts.
