My first thought on trying this wine is “where’s the chocolate”. It would be a perfect compliment to a nice chile-dark chocolate bar from Chao or some another great chocolatier. This wine has a very nice deep dark inky opaque color almost to the rim. The bouquet is floral like when you smell a bouquet of roses. Present but not overly strong. Be patient and decant or otherwise let this baby breathe before you taste it. I got to doing other things around the house, came back and it was worth my diversions. 🙂 Semi-soft mouthy taste with a medium body. I’d say this wine might appeal to a number of red wine drinkers that I know. Go out, buy some, you won’t be disappointed.
