Seifried Nelson 2011 Pinot Gris
This Pinot Gris is from New Zealand and has a very pale hint of yellow on the curvature of the glass. The fragrance of this wine reminds me of spring. Spring is always a welcome and pleasant thought no matter where you live in the world. I can sense a mix of fresh mowed grass, apples and blooming flowers.
It has a light to medium body which I always welcome. Maybe its all the water I drink during the day that makes me appreciate a drink with some weight. 🙂 I know right away that this is a great wine. Its very smooth, full of flavors (pepper, lemon, lime and florals) with a hint of sweetness. All in all a great wine. Highly recommend. 9/10. Cheers!
