I am always running to Trader Joe’s for something I need. While I’m there I always check out what they have in their wine section. I picked up this 2007 Alexander Valley Cab they had private labeled by Five Gold Hands. This is one of my blind pull it off the shelf trial tastings so here goes….
Nice deep opaque ruby red color with enough alcohol to look like a dripping candle that has been lit. The wine smells nice, great we might be ok here ;). Nice flavors, a balance of smooth and bright fruity tastes invite you to pair this with a nice scallopini or pork & mash dinner. It’s definitely worth picking up again. A new everyday wine.
