2009 Parker Estate’s Old Vine Street Cab is a wine wine I can stock up on because it also goes well with one of my all time favorite meals, meatballs and spaghetti. It is light-med bodied with a mix of cranberry and chocolate flavors. There is even a little bit of earthiness which keeps the sweetness in check. The tannins are clearly there but I still find them mild and pleasant. All in all I would call this a “stock up” choice. It’s likely to please a wide assortment of guests and friends so don’t run low:)
