I came across this vineyard when I started listening to their wine podcasts while walking my dog, Gigi. Their approach to growing, cultivating the vines, harvesting and making wine were progressive and impressive. I had to taste their product.
The appearance is pale and extremely clear with a hint of a yellow gold glow. I like the medium weight of this wine and smoothness of it. The 14.2 ABV is hidden in within the flavors of citrus with a very creamy hint of vanilla. The flavors are very subtle. The winery describes it in terms of pear, apple, vanilla & pineapple, but the flavors as I said are politely subtle. A nice summer wine that would be a great compliment to any seafood entree that carries it’s own flavors along. Goosecross Winery
